Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may place orders with DPI only with involvement of a parent or guardian. DPI reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in its sole discretion.

 

Prices

Prices are F.O.B. from our plant as listed in our Online Catalog plus applicable taxes, shipping and handling charges, and are subject to change without notice due to volatile exchange rates and/or typing errors. We will do our best to advise you of any changes. We generally do not charge your credit card until after your order has entered the shipping process. In our online shop, your credit card is charged through Paypal at the time of ordering.

Shipping and Handling Charges

All items purchased from DPI are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier F.O.B. at our plant. Large orders (over $500) may be shipped via common carrier and usually take 5 to 7 days to ship. Taxes, Shipping and Handling Charges are added to your order.

Fraudulent Orders

DPI takes fraud very seriously. Fraudulent orders hurt both cardholders and DPI, and impair DPI’s ability to provide quality service and competitive pricing for customers. In an effort to reduce the amount of fraudulent orders processed, DPI takes certain steps including, but not limited to, recording the IP address for every computer that places an order, and manually checking all orders before shipment.

 

About Shipment of Your Order

Orders placed on our site usually ship within 72 hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, regardless of the shipment method chosen. Choosing Expedited Delivery (e.g. Next Day or Second Day Delivery) at an additional charge may reduce the amount of time your order spends in transit. As an example, West Coast to East Coast takes approximately 5 days. If an item is temporarily out of stock, and cannot be shipped in 48 hours you will receive a notice indicating same. A street address is required for all Shipments and therefore deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes. Note that if you order several items and only one item is on backorder, a partial shipment will often be sent as a courtesy. The back ordered item will be forwarded to you automatically when it is back in stock.

 

Product Descriptions, Warranty and Safety Information

DPI attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, DPI does not warrant that DPI product descriptions or other DPI content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by DPI itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. All items sold on our web pages or in our catalog are not necessarily suitable for every kind of use and therefore, unless otherwise expressly stated by DPI in writing, all product warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and/or non-infringement are hereby fully disclaimed by DPI., all product warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and/or non-infringement are hereby fully disclaimed by DPI. . You should always READ ANY INSTRUCTIONS OR WARNINGS that accompany your DPI product when delivered, and TEST your item in the DPI container that you’ve selected PRIOR TO USE.

 

Returns /The DPI Guarantee

If for any reason you are not satisfied, simply call DPI within 45 days of purchase for an exchange, refund or merchandise credit. Credit is not issued for shipping and handling charges, Paypal, credit card or similar fees. We only accept the return of new, unused and complete product cases and DPI does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at our fulfillment center, postage prepaid.

 

Force Majeure (Acts of God) and Dispute Resolution

DPI takes great pride in servicing its customers so that they are and continue to be satisfied DPI customers. Although DPI will do its best under the circumstances to satisfy its customers, DPI Seller cannot be liable for any failure to deliver, or delay in the delivery of, any products, or any other performance hereunder, due to any cause beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of God, fires, labor disputes, governmental actions, impracticability or inability to obtain and/or market price fluxuations in raw materials, components, energy, manufacturing facilities, or transportation. In the unlikely event of a dispute with DPI, all such matters shall be heard only in the court system of Los Angeles County, California to the exclusion of all others.

 

Limitation of DPI’s Liability

The right to a product exchange, refund or merchandise credit as described herein, shall constitute DPI’s sole liability and customer’s exclusive remedy arising from the sale of any product, whether such claim is based upon principles of contract, warranty, negligence or other tort, breach of any statutory duty, principles of indemnity or contribution, or otherwise, and shall not in any event exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for such product. Under no circumstances shall DPI be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages of any kind or nature, or for specific performance.
