If you find the number '1' embossed onto your water or soda bottle, you will know that your bottle is made from PET. Now your role in creating the Bottle Box is to place your used PET bottles into the blue recycling bin and we will do the rest!


Thousands of bottles are brought to our recycling facility in large bales, where they are sorted into colors. From here we grind the bottles down into flakes and wash them thoroughly. Now the fun part begins! We take the clean flake, and using heat begin the extrusion process to create long rolls of 100% post consumer recycled PET.  We then place the rolls of 100% recycled PET into our thermoform machines which fabricate our Bottle Boxes. 

Our customers are your schools, hospitals, favorite restaurants, markets and produce growers, so you might just find a Bottle Box at your school lunch room, in your local deli or at your favorite restaurant. 

Just take a look at the bottom of each container you are given and check for the Bottle Box mark.

If you discover that you are holding a Bottle Box in your hand congratulations! You will know that someone was very responsible in doing their job to help us, keep PET bottles out of California landfills.
